At 3QD we realise that although many people are computer literate setting up a web site can be an uphill struggle. That is why we do all the work for you, we design the site, host it, and sort out a .co.uk web site address for you.

With our services you don't even need to have a computer! All you need is a device that can be used to send and receive e-mails. This could be a phone, a set top box for your television, even a Sky digibox is more than adequate for the purpose. Of course if you just want a site designed, and want to host it yourself, we can still help.

Some common questions
At 3QD we are often asked questions by our clients, so to make things easier here are the most common questions and their answers.

I use the Internet, but dont know how it works, does that matter?
No, it doesn't matter. We can do all the work for you, provided you have the facility to read and answers e-mails you can have a full working site quickly and economically.

What address can I have for my website?
That depends, an address needs to be registered with a naming authority. You can only have addresses that are not owned by someone else. We will do our best to get you the address you want, if it isn't available we will come up with a list of alternatives that are available. We recommend that our customers choose a .co.uk address as this makes it more obvious to potential customers that you are located in the UK.

How big can my website be?
That is entirely up to you. If you are choosing one of our standard packages, then the size will be determined by the package, typically 3 or 5 pages. If you want a bigger site then we will be happy to oblige.

Are their any hidden costs?
No. If you choose one of our packages then the price you see is the price you pay. If you do want any work done above that included in the package then you simply pay our normal hourly rate. For example let us suppose that you opted for our value package. And after 6 months moved premises, you would then need the website updating. Updates are not part of our packages, so their would be charge. However suppose you are happy with your site, and have it on the internet for 12 months, that would cost the fixed price agreed when you employed us. If you used our value package that would be £99, or to put it another way under £2 per week.
